First things first I want to preface that I know this isn’t considered a clean self tanner, or even a clean beauty product in general. BUT, there are some things that I bend a bit on, and self-tanner is one of them. So, I had to get my hands on LovingTan’s New and darkest self tanner, their Platinum Ultimate Self mousse. Let me also say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It really is the darkest and most natural-looking tan on the market right now.

I bought the smaller option (3.3oz) which is $40. The price is a bit steep for me personally, but it is so worth it. I am definitely going to be purchasing the next size up (6.7oz) which is $65 when mine runs out. You’re still saving a ton of money by doing your own tans, rather than going to get spray tans, which on average cost around $45. You also get a handful of uses from one bottle, so the price breakdown is way more cost-efficient for a tan with amazing results

Being so thrifty though, it was like biting the bullet when purchasing this tanner, as it is pretty pricey. So, I don’t use this as my go-to everyday tan. I’d rather use my plethora of other tanners for my everyday glow. This tan is gorgeous for events or special occasions like a wedding, bridal shower, “pre-vacation”, engagement photoshoot, concerts, etc.

LovingTan uses a professional strength formula that gives the best immediate results. It’s also an easy and streak free application every single time! I love how it is a super lightweight formula and it dries in one minute! Weird, but I like the smell of self tanners and this one has a pleasant smell to it too! I will admit some tanners smell terrible, and I just steer clear of those altogether, haha. I also love how minimal, if any transfer there is. I still wear pants and a long sleeve shirt to bed just to be cautious!

Now for the before and afters!

I used one coat, and not even a super generous amount just to see what the tan would look like. I’m not surprised by the results, as I love LovingTan’s 2 Hour Express Tan (Dark). LovingTan is top notch, and their results speak for themselves. It’s also not a sticky solution, which I cannot stand! The smaller size is definitely the way to go to test out the solution and see for yourself how the tan develops on your skin.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this tan y’all. I cannot rave enough about it, seriously! There are no orange tones at all, and it wears so well throughout the following days. You will literally look like you were laying out on the beach in the sun for a week on vacation. Having a tan truly is the best accessory. It elevates any look, makes you feel so good, and is the best confidence booster. I swear my serotonin level jumps 150% instantly after I tan.
